I feel like I just celebrated the year 2000. The time flies so fast and here we are 2011. We spent New Years in San Diego with our son , his wife and 3 boys. In 2000 we had 3 sons. In 2011 we have 3 sons – 3 daughter-in-laws that I consider daughters and 7 grandsons with a granddaughter on the way! How wonderful is that? Life has been good to us and we are blessed. For the next decade I would love to see peace in this world. I would love to see less violence in our own country. I would hope for peace and love verses violence. My world is so small , but I send out the peace and joy I have found to the rest of the world. I hope it does a little bit of good.
We headed to San Diego right after Christmas. San Diego is such a great destination. There is endless things to see and do there. This trip we had some great hikes with family. A fabulous lobster dinner at “The Boathouse” restaurant was a highlight . It was decorated for the holidays and was very festive. The lobster was delicious..
Here are some pictures of our hikes at Mission trails.
